Apply now for Creative Climate Leadership

Creative Climate Leadership is an international training and professional development course for  cultural professionals and artists. We are inviting applicants from professionals who work within or with the creative and cultural community.

The training course will:

  • Explore the role of culture and creativity in leading responses and adaptation to climate change and environmental challenges;
  • Bring together a range of expert guest speakers to share case studies, research, approaches and practical solutions;
  • Enable participants to take a confident leadership role and act with impact, creativity and resilience;
  • Enable participants to tackle challenges or roadblocks to embedding environmental sustainability in their work;
  • Prepare participants to take learning from CCL to their own creative practice through organising their own dissemination event;
  • Support ongoing learning and exchange through an alumni network.

Apply to join the five-day intensive as part of your artistic practice, or to support your organisation's development of a sustainable programme or strategy.

The course is facilitated by Julie's Bicycle (UK) and PiNA (Slovenia), two pioneering organisations in the fields of culture, climate change and sustainable development in Europe.

Applications will be considered from all creative disciplines and art forms.

Applicants are also welcome from organisations that work directly with the cultural sector, such as networks, associations, funding bodies and policymakers.

“A huge amount of work has been provided by the facilitator team to provide such unique content. Cohesion of the team, fluidity in the way each person was alternatively presenting, different topics, capacity of integrating participants’ remarks into the next steps of the programme.”
